BRIEF – Hg2 were asked to create a content strategy to start-up and maintain their blog. The blog is a brand awareness tool and we were tasked to deliver engaging content that would help build Sipsmith’s natural search strategy and drive traffic to their website.
PLATFORM – the Sipsmith Blog
CONTENT – in order to drive engagement and interaction four different content pillars were devised to talk about the brand, bring in associations with brand ambassadors and cultural influencers, and showcase an expertise on gin. As there was no direct web sales the focus of the blog was drive awareness and educate.
RESULTS – the Sipsmith blog is an unprecedented resource on the world of gin. In the first 10 months, we were able to raise their total website visitor numbers from 12,000 unique users per month to 50,000 unique users per month. A 458% increase in traffic.
